KINCHO SUMITHRIN Lice Killing Power is a medicated product that kills head lice and crab lice infestations on human bodies.
Humans host three kinds of lice – head lice, pubic lice, and body lice. They typically suck blood through the skin and cause itchiness and eczema. Head lice are the most common mass outbreaks in preschools or elementary schools.

Usage and Amounts

Method of Use (For head lice)

  • 1. Spread 7 grams on the hair for each use.

  • 2. Spread the powder on the hair.

  • 3. Disperse the powder all through the hair, using hands, a comb, etc.

  • 4. Wait one hour. Cover the head with a shower cap or the like, to be sure the powder does not get into the eyes, ears, nose or mouth.

  • 5. Rinse the powder away thoroughly using room-temperature or lukewarm water, ordinary shampoo, etc. A conditioner or other ordinary product may be used afterward.

  • 6. Repeat the use once in a day, on every third day (skipping two days each time), for a total of three or four uses. Ordinary shampoo and/or conditioner may be used at any time during this period. Lice eggs hatch in about 7 days, and this procedure is designed to successively kill the new generations of lice.
The fourth use is to make sure any newly hatched lice are killed.
